Norfloxacin is a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent with strong bactericidal activity, especially against Gram-negative bacteria. It has a lower minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) compared with commonly used anti-Gram-negative drugs and shows no cross-resistance with other fluoroquinolones or antibiotics.

Application
